What is Ditch?
Ditch is an AI assistant that lives in your iMessages. Instead of downloading an app, you text a phone number and get AI responses directly in a normal iMessage conversation.
How do I get started?
On mobile, tap the "Text on iMessage" button on our homepage. On desktop, scan the QR code with your phone. Either way, iMessage opens with the assistant's number ready to go. Just send a message.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your phone number is your account. There's nothing to sign up for - just start texting.
Which AI models does Ditch use?
Ditch uses models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. The system automatically picks the best model for each request - whether that's a quick answer, detailed reasoning, or image generation.
What can I ask it to do?
Anything you'd ask an AI assistant - answer questions, write content, generate images, summarize information, help with productivity tasks. If you've connected integrations, you can also ask it to check your calendar, draft emails, create notes, and more.
How do integrations work?
Visit ditch.app and connect services like Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, OneDrive, or Notion. Once linked, the assistant can access those services when you ask it to through iMessage.
Is it free?
You get free usage to try Ditch out. Once you hit usage limits, a simple monthly subscription unlocks continued access and advanced features. No hidden fees.
Does it work on Android?
Ditch currently works through iMessage, so it requires an Apple device. Android support may come in the future.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Messages are sent to AI providers to generate responses and then discarded. We don't train on your data, don't sell your information, and don't store messages longer than necessary. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through the website. Your access continues through the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my data?
Text "delete my data" to the assistant or email contact@ditch.app. We'll remove all your data within 30 days.
